Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more efficient, passing our cleaning tests and tackling a variety of floor types. Look for models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to automatically empty, and clean up the stairs.
A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set schedules and customize the behavior of the S1.
When I tested the S1, it was quick to identify the downstairs area, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one step. The S1 performed admirably in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it reached carpets or rug.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but this will vary depending on how much you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them becoming blocked by dirt or dust. best robot vacuum cleaner , the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a reliable option to meet your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when required.
The robot is simple to set up and use, and has a clear interface that walks you through the process. It includes a rechargeable hand vacuum for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach and two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled as needed. It also comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, with a strong suction that effortlessly picks up most debris and even the tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it is sometimes hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary in the application). Its mopping capabilities are also quite good with a pair of spinning mops which lift and scrub the floor instead of moving the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation as required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station as required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well by avoiding pet hairs as well as other mess. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation is nimble it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without reversing direction which is a great feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge space over obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.
Its app has a streamlined and intuitive interface that will be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop settings as well as view 3-D and 2D maps. It is accessible through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from any location. You can even tap into the X40 Ultra's camera remotely to get live video surveillance. However, you will require a stable internet connection to use it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of picking up dirt and debris but it's not always able to reach every last bit of dust. That's why it's important to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to pick up dust in corners, on shelves, and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mop, is made to accomplish this. It is easy to connect to your home WiFI network and also works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive models in the S-series from the company, such as the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It is equipped with a similar LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves price by eliminating mopping functions and using a less expensive plastic body.
Despite losing the ability to mop floors, the Q5 still has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system which means you don't need to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and determine the floor type. It also comes with an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dust, dirt, and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area carpets, but it didn't clean up cables or kitty litter, which is no surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also uses a unique system to map your home. This really helps it get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums are unable to reach. This device also has the larger bin, meaning that you don't have to empty it as frequently. Additionally, it has washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. This robot can detect carpets, and increase suction if necessary. The app allows you to mark areas that you want it to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
